Traffic Calming Request
Speeding continues to be an important safety issue in our neighborhood as well as drivers ignoring the stop signs at our entrance.
The City of San Antonio will conduct a “Traffic Calming” investigation if we can get signatures from at least 2/3 of the households as evidence of neighborhood support. After the City conducts their traffic calming investigation, they will advise us what steps can be taken to help make our neighborhood safer, if we meet certain criteria.
If you would like to sign this request, you can contact John (3315) or Wayne (3320).
We have several signatures already from homeowners showing their support!
Thank you from your Villas at Redland Ranch HOA Board!

MAIL BOX BREAK-IN:
UPDATE (12/3/15): The mail boxes have been fixed! Any mail held at the Post Office will be delivered tomorrow!
Our mailboxes were broken into sometime Thanksgiving night.
Two sections (left & center) were broken into. The section on the right was not broken into. It may take up to a week to get them fixed.
The mailman is still delivering mail to the last section on the right. The people who get mail in the left & center sections can pickup their mail at the Henderson Pass post office until it is fixed.
DO NOT PLACE ANY OUTGOING MAIL IN THE SLOT UNTIL THE BACK IS FIXED!!!
The break-in has been reported to the police and the Post Office.
This time of year is an especially vulnerable time for this type of crime, so please be aware of this and also, make sure someone is home to accept any packages you are expecting, or designate a neighbor that can accept them for you.
If you have experienced any financial loss due to stolen mail, you need to call and file a report with the Postal Inspectors at 1-877-876-2455 as well as contacting your bank, credit card company, etc.
Make sure to look over all of your financial statements carefully for any sign of theft!
Thank you, the Villas at Redland Ranch Board.

Hello Friends & Neighbors:
We need to remind homeowners about our HOA Covenant regarding on street parking. There has been much improvement, the street looks much better overall and we would like to thank those of you who have helped to make a difference, but we can still do better.
This is a great safety concern for everyone, especially for our children and for emergency vehicle access.
If you haven’t read this Supplement yet, please take a moment to read it here on our website.
Thank you and Happy Holidays to all from your HOA Board of Directors.

The fence staining is done! Thanks to everyone for your cooperation!
Fence Staining Update- Work will begin on October 15th as scheduled.
They will clean the fence first, then come back on Thursday to do the staining (as long as it's not too windy). The whole job should take 2-3 days.
Remember to cover or remove plants and other items near the fence and keep children and pets away from the fence while the workers are there.
Thank you!
FENCE STAINING NOTICE
Dear Neighbors,
It is time once again to have our neighborhood fence re-stained.
The professionals recommended a solid stain/sealant. A solid stain should last longer and make it easier to blend newly repaired sections of the fence with existing fence sections, it should also make future touch ups easier. The color will be very similar to the existing color.
The staining will include the fence that borders Redland Rd, the two small sections at the entrance on Redtack Stable and the fence area by the mailboxes at the common area. The stain will only be applied to the outer side (street side) of the fence, not inside your private property. No workers should have any reason to enter your private property.
The stain will be applied using a low-pressure sprayer. During the application process, some stain could come between the individual pickets or over the top of the fence. Vegetation and any personal property should be covered on the day(s) of the scheduled work. Please take proper precautions with children and pets as well. This will be a latex product that can be cleaned up with soap and water. The fence will be washed prior to staining.
Any tree limbs, branches and/or plant growth hanging over or through the fence will need to be removed prior to staining. If you prefer to trim your own trees and bushes please do so now, otherwise we can take care of these for you. Some of the fence boards will be re-nailed prior to staining where needed.
This work is estimated to begin on or about October 15th, weather permitting.
We will notify all homeowners with a notice on our neighborhood bulletin board and on our website.
Please watch the bulletin board and website for additional updates.
If you have any questions, please contact Virgil (HOA President #3319) or Wayne (Secretary/Treasurer #3320).
Thank you,
Your Board of Directors
(Notices have been hand delivered to all homeowners whose property borders an area of fence that will be stained)
